Pennells Garden Centre Pennells Nurseries are one of the oldest nurseries in the country, and probably the oldest which is still in the same family ownership. The business was founded by a Richard Pennell in 1780. Today it is run by another Richard Pennell, who is the seventh generation to have been involved in the business.
